Meet Angela

Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Hi, I’m Angela (she/her), a double board-certified psychiatric mental health (PMHNP) and family nurse practitioner (FNP). This background allows me to take a holistic approach to your care, with particular focus on any medical problems that may influence your mental health symptoms. I have been practicing nursing for almost 15 years, including the last seven in corrections health. This experience has provided me with extensive experience in trauma, complex mental health concerns, navigating significant life events, and supporting clients in crisis.

My style is candid, thoughtful, and compassionate. I make sure to fully explain your care, with the goal of empowering you to be an active participant in your healthcare decisions. I often incorporate therapy, nutrition support and other non-medication approaches into medication management sessions to maximize your growth.

I specialize in medication management for depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and trauma and PTSD. Although our focus is in early adulthood, I enjoy seeing adults of any age. My goal is to provide a combination of medication management and therapy in individualized telehealth sessions where I empower you to be an active participant in your healthcare decisions.
