Meet Marisa

Hi, I’m Marisa, a psychiatric nurse practitioner and the founder of Talking Twenties. Throughout my academic and professional careers, I have observed young adults struggle to find mental health care suited to their unique needs and schedules. My goal is to help bridge that gap by providing high-quality and compassionate care tailored for this challenging phase of every person’s life.

My Approach

At the core, I work with people who are suffering and want to reclaim and revitalize their lives.

I have experience treating most mental health conditions, but specialize in treating bipolar, trauma, anxiety, and depression. These may be names you’ve heard before, but if you’re unsure what is going on, I can help.

In session with me you can expect to:

→ Explore underlying roots of emotions, relationship patterns, and life challenges.
→ Take away practical solutions for tackling the symptoms getting in your way.
→ Reestablish trust and confidence in yourself.

Talking Twenties is private, confidential, and nonjudgmental. No matter the issue, we will work together to identify your strengths, weaknesses, and treatment goals in order to develop the best possible plan for you.
